POTD: Two Rivers beach kite fest!
This pic from last summer of the new “Kite Festival” in Two Rivers (my hometown on Lake Michigan). The numerous kites were simply spectacular! We had a great time enjoying the professional flyers, food and fun. The event in the last couple years is new and growing in popularity. Two Rivers is just over 13,000 people; a clean community with many attractions including a boating/fishing history museum, not to mention enjoying one of the best beaches at Neshota Beach–a few blocks from where I grew up body surfing and swimming in Lake Michigan. Yes, Dick, Shirley and I got the dock out yesterday. The boats are out and ready for winterizing. Now, we’re gonna kick back and enjoy fall, first snowfall, the upcoming holidays and look forward to spring and putting everything back in! Rog

From the web cam, I can see that Roger has removed the pier and the pontoon. It has been a wonderful fall weatherwise. Now its time for a new season. Thanks for the beautiful pictures of the lake.
