These photos from former Kelly Lake cottage owner, Don Moss, who now has a cottage on Potato Lake but still stays in contact with Kelly Lake via this web site and visits relatives and friends here frequently; relatives still have cottages here. Humming birds were plentiful this year around our feeders. These delecate aviaries are delightful to observe feeding on the sugary nectar. They’re quite territorial and often the dominate one is seen shooing the others away or engaging in a dogfight. Roger

Rick and Cheryl Hansen, along with children, Heather and Tyler, are now cottage owners on Kelly Lake. They’re two doors to the south of us. They’ve been working on weekends and vacations sprucing up their retreat; painting, downing trees; landscaping and numerous tasks to get their new home-away-from-home up to their liking (and a fine job they did!). With the thinning of trees and cutting lower limbs, you’ll be able to see the improvements and a cottage you might not have realized was there before! They enjoy canoeing, pontooning, waverunner and walks around Kelly Lake. Seen here are Cheryl, Tyler and Rick. Congratulations Hansens! Welcome aboard! Roger

Jim and Holly Pecard (Jim not in photo) have rented at Kelly Lake for eons. Jim grew up on the south shore of Kelly Lake. Well, they’re back renting for the second time this year on the west shore. Holly (seen piloting their boat) gives a tour to three of her friends; all four nurses at Prevea in Green Bay. Jim and Holly have become our longtime good friends over 20 years. We have been getting together each summer. Holly was my nurse when I spent five months at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay in ‘89. Jim is a psychologist in GB.
